Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a therapy which Dr Kade or Dr Lucas (Chiropractors) may implement as an adjunct to your care. Dry Needling is the insertion of fine needles into specific spots of pain. These spots are located via palpation and can be found in muscle or tendons. Dry Needling stimulates blood flow to the affected area and can assist in decreasing muscle tension and pain. In a Dry Needling appointment, Dr Kade or Dr Lucas (Chiropractors) will perform dry needling along with soft tissue and/or adjustments to help effectively heal tissue and relieve pain. Dry Needling is also available with Tiani and Shantel, 2 of our Remedial Massage Therapists.
Massage
Remedial Massage is a modality focused on relieving muscle tension and aches to allow people to function pain-free. It also aids in allowing for greater flexibility, range of motion and encourages lymphatic drainage. Remedial Massage can be a whole body therapy or can be tailored to your problem areas – it is an individual experience guided by your feedback and your body.
