Althea Projects is a not-for-profit organisation, 100% local, based in Townsville who has been devoted to assisting vulnerable individuals, families and young people since 1974.
As a leader in community services in Townsville, we have fully-equipped and interconnected programs in child protection, fostering, homelessness and family support. Through these programs, we continually demonstrate our reputation for excellence, delivering compassionate, evidence-informed services, driven by best practice frameworks. We operate from a child-centred, family-focused and culturally mindful framework, collaborating with various local providers and key stakeholders to address a wide range of complex issues faced by vulnerable people in our community.
